The different Applications of KPIs - From Marketing to Honorary KPI

Top-down perspective means from the manufacturing factory director right down to the product administrator, of course. But when this is aligned with the factory's operations, the bottom-up perspective would also be used. This means that it would come from the direction of the product administrator right up to the factory director. In this manner, you've assured a balanced window by which the whole operation of the business can also be observed.

It would also be understandably important to identify the KPIs that would be used. These are also employed to hand and measure manufacturing in a nutshell. Make sure to limit the number of KPIs to use, as having too numerous would just spell all the more confusion. 

After relating them, you should also do to relating the places of the people using the dashboard, as well as their access to the information at hand. You have to understand that the information colluded on your dashboard would actually be specifically applicable to the person who's viewing it. 

The factory director, for case, would need to see KPIs that parade how the whole factory is operating in regard. Unit directors, on the other hand, would just need to see criteria that are applicable to their subunits so that they can report similar progress to the manufacturing factory director.

Key performance indicators or KPIs are important components of any organization's measurable objectives. They consist of both financial and non-financial measures that reflect how well an organization is performing, with respect to the goals it has set for itself. Many different applications of this concept exist in management practice: manufacturing KPI, customer service KPI, internal process KPI, and even bonus or honorary KPI.

These key performance indicators vary widely across different types of organizations with various different objectives. 

For marketing-oriented organizations, for example, important key performance indicators could include customer growth rate, customer profitability, customer attrition, and customer satisfaction. Manufacturers, on the other hand, would focus on a set of KPIs that includes overall equipment effectiveness, total effective equipment performance, loading, availability, and quality. Other organizational aspects would also come with their own sets of key performance indicators.
